The border region has a rich artistic heritage, one that has existed quietly for hundreds of years. That silence ended in December of 2000 with the inception of BorderSenses Literary Magazine . One of the few bilingual magazines in the U.S., BorderSenses Literary Magazine offers an exciting mix of short stories, poetry, and essays in English and Spanish, as well as artwork and photography. We have published seven issues so far and are about to publish our eigth issue. In the past, the magazine has featured the work of well-known writers, such as Benjamin Alire Sáenz, Bobby Byrd, Joe Somoza, Emmy Perez, and Daniel Chacón. Let us share with you the words and images of all these talented artists.
Please subscribe to our magazine and help provide a voice to the many talented writers and visual artists on both sides of the U.S./Mexico border. You can either subscribe for:
1 year and get 2 issues at $15/year or better yet, subscribe for 2 years and get 4 issues at $28/year. You'll also receive a complimentary gift from us for your support.
